An Angry Jesus Christ’s noble truths he widdled down to one, and the Christ Consciousness movement emphasizes this. God is love and though art God. Katie Allen Likes 'em Warm and Wild. Win a Copy of Chasing Her Tail Whom do you think are sexier? Werewolves or vampires? Why? Werewolves, definitely. I go for the more animalistic heroes. I like ‘em rough, hairy and not quite tame. Vampires seem more civilized...and awfully pale. Plus they’re, you know, dead. I haven’t had the privilege of doing the nasty with...... -

Hi David,
Unfortunately I don’t use treadmills that much. When I run, I do it outside (cold or not). When there’s too much snow on the ground or I want to change things up a bit, I personally like the rowing machine and if I was in the market for cardio equipment I’d probably look for a Concept II rower.
However, that said, we each have our own personal preferences and many people like the treadmill. Whether or not York makes a good treadmill, I don’t have an answer. Looking online, there certainly seem to be some good reviews for some York models (http://www.simplyfitnessequipment.co.uk/Treadmills/York-Z16-Treadmill).
My take is that when making a big fitness equipment investment, think long term. Can you see yourself using it in a month? Two months? A year down the road? If so, then take the plunge. If its something that might just sit and gather dust, then maybe sit on it for a bit. There are other fitness equipment purchases that cost loads less and can be super beneficial like a simple barbell and some weights and a skipping rope. But at the end of the day, the goal is keeping in shape and if a treadmill will help you with that goal, then do it.
