I've been looking for an interval timer with push notifications/sounds (since most iphones/ipods don't support apps running in the background) as I'd like to be able to use it for things like medication timing... not just exercising... so multiple profiles would be a must. Curious if you have thought about the possibility of adding such features to make it an all around interval timer as opposed to exercise only.

hi ... great timer - lovin it !!! however, i would LOVE to see a 'total workout time' count on the Interval screen ... that just tracks the stopwatch from start to completion of the entire interval training .... a feature that i like, but can't find on any other interval timer ... thx .. $ well spent !

Hi Rose! No halftime warning yet, unfortunately. Hope to get this into another upcoming update. Thanks for the comment! If you're on the fence, use the contact form above and I'll hook you up with a promo code.

I see there is an updated version dated Feb. 4 in the app store. Does this new version include the half way point as suggested above by Max?

Really great user-friendly app. Thanks for creating it. I have one suggestion: Can you please add an option to adjust the volume for the audio cues If not, can you please increase the volume of the audio cue track. I find it very difficult to hear the female voice over the music. Incidentally, one of the reasons I decided on WOD was because it had an audio cue option.

Thank you very much for your consideration

Matt - definitely some great ideas there. I'm hoping to add some more features to make this a pretty comprehensive app. Music features such as the one you've suggested, are a top requested feature. Also the saving of the presets.
Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated.

Hi guys, love the app and the improvments. It would be fantastic if the music would come on automatically on the work phase and rest phase and pause in the audio cues so as to hear them.

I totaly agree with previous comment on being able to save the wod time and label/ date stamp them to compile comparison of same WODs

can you also include an interval timer function than can capture this kid of WOD
10 min hspu
5 min squats
2 min pull ups
1 min push ups

as this one requires max reps to be counted on each discipline and totaled.
Would be great to be able to have the ability to vary the interval times.

Thanks once again keep up the great work.

Anna - unfortunately this doesn't work with the Nike+

Todd - These are defects that I'm working on fixing. Soon! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

I downloaded the free app awhile back. It worked great as a stopwatch or a count down timer but when I set it up for intervals it would just shut off and disappear. I would have to start the whole timer over and lost time on those intervals.

Will this work with Nike+? I'm looking for an interval timer that will work at the same time as Nike+.

Thanks for the great feedback Sing! Being able to assign songs to the work or rest intervals would be very cool. I'll have to think about that one though - might be a bit tricky. A progress bar sounds nice though. We'll see what I can get done in the next few weeks. Thanks again!

Thanks for the great work Jamie & Happy New Year!

Additional suggestions:

If playing music with the timer:
- Automatically lowers the volume of the music during the rest phase, then jack up the music volume again during the work phase, or vice versa.
- Can pick 2 songs to play; 1 for the work phase & 1 for the rest phase. So, e.g. a heavy metal piece during work phase & a, say, classical piece during rest phase, ..

Make the visuals look big & apparent e.g. have a big coloured progress bar for each phase; one colour for each phase. Or have a big pie clock counting down with different colours for each phase. This is 'cause if you're moving too much at a high rate, sometimes it's hard to read the display properly so clear visual cues will help.

Thank you!

Jamie,

Thank you for finally producing an interval timer that we can use without having a giant second hand clock around. I have been doing interval training for some years now and it has always been difficult to find a portable device to accommodate this type of training.

I love the audible cues and that you can play your music at the same time. My only suggestion is to see if there is a way to lower the volume of the music or increase the volume of the audible cue as it gets drowned out in the music.

Thanks again for coming out with a great app.
